North Sardinia itineraries
The beaches not to be missed: Li Tinnari and Li Cossi in Costa Paradiso, Cala Sarraina in Aglientu, Vignola mare and Baia delle Mimose in Badesi, Capo Testa with the Valle della Luna in Santa Teresa and the beaches of the La Maddalena Archipelago.
Aggius and Aglientu: two authentic villages in Gallura, where you can breathe the air of the past and immerse yourself in the landscapes of the hinterland. Expanses of cork oaks, granite peaks, the stazzi and the tranquility of the countryside, frame these two villages.

Panorama di Aggius
In Aggius it is possible to visit the MEOC – the largest ethnographic museum in Sardinia – and the museum of banditry, stop for lunch in the historic center and take a nice walk to the Valle della Luna, a true naturalistic treasure. The Valley of the Moon is a vast expanse of boulders dating back to the glaciations, where the landscape seems, in fact, lunar. The boulders, rounded and worked by erosion, today have an extravagant appearance, with particular shapes similar to figures of animals and profiles of human faces.
The historic center of Aglientu, on the other hand, is filled with visitors, stalls, artisans, traditional food and beautiful music for the famous tourist festival on 12 and 13 August.
Isola Rossa and the experience of the sea
A few kilometers from Costa Paradiso there is Isola Rossa, a fishing village, today a tourist destination, which has however managed to preserve a simple and welcoming atmosphere. Ideal for water sports and for the sea suitable for children.
Asinara tour
The island of Asinara, inaccessible until a few years ago because it was a prison area, is today a protected marine oasis of great naturalistic interest and can be visited in many ways: on foot, by bike, by train, by sail or by jeep.
There are many species of protected plants and animals, such as the famous white donkey, the beach of Cala Sabina and several paths that cross the island. It is possible to visit the prison and other areas such as the Management offices, the Agents’ Barracks, the workshops and the Bunker that hosted Totò Riina. Not to be missed.

Archaeological sites north Sardinia
On the trail of the past, discovering the nuraghe!
The nuraghe are the symbol of Sardinia and characterize the landscape. There are more than 7,000 on the island as evidence of a complex civilization and a territory that is not at all isolated but rich in villages, exchanges and communication routes between the communities. The nuraghe arose in most cases near a village, their function still remains uncertain (defense, garrison, warehouse, etc.). Not far from the nuraghe we often find a tomb of the giants, a place of burial and ceremonies of the village itself.
There are several archaeological sites near Costa Paradiso and it is possible to organize a real itinerary to visit them, we point out a few:
- Nuraghe Paduledda (Bastianazzu) Trinità d’Agultu
